ACCOMODATION

All the participants are to reserve the accommodation by themselves. The responsibility for the accommodation reservation and payment is entirely up to the participants.

Nevertheless the organisers have an agreement with the Hotel Diplomat in a close proximity to the conference. Please find below a promotional link to the Hotel Diplomat for the conference participant with fixed prices. Please note that the capacity of the hotel is limited and reservations are made on ‚first comes first served’ basis.

pRAGUE PUBLIC TRANSPORT

Prague provides three metro lines – A, B, C. Line A is the most convenient one for travelling from and to the conference venue. From the Prague Airport you can travel by BUS no. 119 to Nádraží Veleslavín and then continue by metro or TRAM to Dejvická station.
The night public transport in Prague is one of the best in the world. All night tram lines are reachable at one central transfer station. Buses and trams have their night lines between 12 pm and 4 am.
Always buy your public transport ticket at the station and do not forget to validate it on the bus/tram or before you entering the metro.

Arriving in Prague

The Václav Havel Airport Prague: Take the bus number 119 to Nadrazi Veleslavin. From Nadrazi Veleslavin, take the metro or tram to Dejvicka station. It is a 5-miute walk from Dejvicka to the National Library of Technology.

Prague Main Train Station: Take the tram 26 that goes directly to Thakurova station, close to the venue.

Florenc Bus Station: Take the tram number 8 to Lotysska.

If you use Eduroam, you can connect to the Eduroam network with the username and password of your home institution.

ATM and Currency

ATM is located outside the building of the Faculty of Civil Engineering itself as well as in the nearby National Library of Technology.

Currency of the Czech Republic is the Czech Crown (CZK). However, Euro is accepted in many restaurants, hotels and shops. Payment with credit card is always a solution. Exchange rates are approximately 26 CZK/EUR and 24 CZK/USD.
